What to Expect

Sunday Service

Service starts at 10:30 and goes until approximately 11:45. A service will have a blend of teaching, prayer, and music. Afterwards, feel free to say hello to those around you.

We share communion once a month. As a United Methodist Church, we practice an “open table”. All are welcome.

Teaching and Prayer

Each Sunday service has time for prayer and teaching from the Bible.

During certain seasons of the year, midweek discussions and book studies happen too.

Music

Our Sunday service has the chance for people to sing traditional hymns and contemporary songs. You can expect instrumental music at different times of prayer and reflection. Some Sundays, different members of the congregation may share a solo or other musical piece.

Children's Program

Sunday service - children are always welcome to stay with their adults during service

Sunday service - activities and children’s programs are available in a space right near the sanctuary

Children’s church - during the school year children are invited every Wednesday evening for a meal and activities just for them

Vacation Bible School - each summer children are invited to a week of evening activities with a closing program for families

Discipleship Opportunities

We are working on a combination of in-person and online content for personal and churchwide discipleship. We recognize by having a self-directed option that individuals who are not able to attend at traditional times can still participate through self-study. We are committed to creatively cultivating ways to help people explore our faith.

Special Events

The church has a long tradition of sharing a Thanksgiving meal, an Easter meal, and celebrating other holidays with all who would like to attend.

Special events for children, including a carnival in the spring and singing in Sunday service happen each year too.
